That's all Folks
The "Viking Coach" blog site is shutting down. . .In the end, I hope my words have touched a few of you. . .I believe I have fought the good fight, I tried valiantly to finish the race but sometimes situations call for a person to end one race and start up another.
Such is the case for the Viking Coach. . . Affective Wednesday, December 5th I have resigned from my position as head coach of the Pelican Rapids Vikings.
My last bit of advice for you on this blog comes from Ralph Waldo Emerson. . . It is a saying that I read often:
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
